Starbucks, Shula Burger and Air Margaritaville are some of the new restaurants that will open at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport over the next three years.
Global restaurateur HMSHost recently signed an agreement with FLL to open new dining options in Terminals 1 and 2 over two phases that will begin in 2014 and end in 2017.
During the first phase, HMSHost plans to bring five Starbucks locations to the airport to be spread among the two terminals.
With the first opening of phase two, travelers will be able to grab a meal with Shula Burger, inspired by NFL Hall of Fame Coach Don Shula’s Steak House, and Offerdahl’s Cafe Grill.
Some of Broward County’s popular restaurants will also be featured in Terminals 1 and 2, including Tarpon Bend Food & Tackle and Sergio’s. Additional local restaurants will include Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar and BurgerFi.
