FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – JULY 2, 2012 – With the inauguration of Shula’s newest restaurant concept, Shula Burger, into the fast casual market, Team Shula recruits two new players to join their winning lineup.
We are pleased to announce that Scott Nietschmann has joined our team as the President of Shula Burger and Matt DeBusk as Vice President of Franchise Development for Shula Burger. Both Scott and Matt bring an abundance of experience and expertise to our company. Mr. Nietschmann has previously owned and operated four Fish City Grill franchised restaurants in the Austin and Houston, Texas markets. Scott has also recently served as the President of Magic Brands, LLC (also known as the franchisor company for Fuddruckers and Koo Koo Roo concepts.) Prior to his tenure with Magic Brands, Scott was the Chief Operating Officer for the popular Chili’s Grill & Bar franchise where he was part of the Chili’s family from 2000 through 2005.
Matt DeBusk has spent the majority of the last decade with Moe’s Southwest Grill and FOCUS Brands Inc., where he was one of the Directors of Franchise Sales. Prior to this role, Mr. DeBusk was an Account Executive at Radiant Systems, an industry leader in point of sale technology. Matt also has experience as the founder of an independent restaurant consulting firm, and also worked as a Business Consultant with Moe’s Southwest Grill and Raving Brands from March 2003 to March 2005.
