The Postcard Inn announced its first expansion, adding Holiday Isle in the Florida Keys to its portfolio. The Postcard Inn at St. Pete Beach now has a sister property in Islamorada, Fla. Holiday Isle, which has been hosting guests since 1951, will be renamed the Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina at Holiday Isle upon the completion of a $10.6 million property-wide renovation that will culminate with the early December unveiling of the country’s first Shula Burger. The Postcard Inn at Holiday Isle will be home to the first Shula Burger, a fast-casual burger concept at affordable prices with a full liquor bar created by legendary Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula. Featuring gourmet burgers that are made from a signature blend including short rib and brisket, the menu includes appetizers, salads, fresh seafood as well as full breakfast daily. The Postcard Inn brand will comprise iconic properties in settings that offer the retro, throwback feel of a nostalgic American beach vacation, combined with modern amenities, designer furnishings and a touch of whimsy. Special introductory rates are being offered for stays between now and Jan. 15, 2012.
